PACK students show their artist side!
Recently, PACK was invited to paint faces at the 11th Annual Jamba Banana Man 5K Chase which took place May 5th. For over two hours, PACK had a long line of people wanting to get their faces painted by our talented student artists. Participating in this event if just one of the many ways PACK gets involved in their community!
Race participants had a chance to chase life size bananas around the beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island during a 5k = 3.1 miles run. Hawaii’s wackiest race hosted over 1,200 runners for the 5K and 200 kids (ages 13 and under) for the Keiki Fun Run to help promote fun in the sun and fitness!
The PACK Face Painting Booth offered simple designs including hearts, flowers, butterflies and stars which were very popular among the girls.
They also offer more elaborate designs such as dragons and lions which the boys were happy to get.
Several adults had their faces painted as well, prooving you are never to old to get in on the fun!
